When Dylan and I were staying in Charlottesville this spring, I made this every night for Jeopardy!. It comes together quick, and it’s just the right amount for one or two people to have a tasty few bites!
Single-Serving Cookie Dough
Time: ~5 minutes
[The CDC warns against eating raw flour. You can microwave your flour until it reaches 165℉ if you want to be extra careful.]
1 tablespoon (14 grams) butter or coconut oil
1½ tablespoons (19 grams) brown sugar or (Moriah’s taste-preference) that amount of white sugar plus a drop of molasses

2 teaspoons (10 grams) milk any kind, dairy or nondairy is fine
1 pinch salt
1 drop vanilla extract

2-3 tablespoons flour [see Paul’s headnote about eating raw flour]
1½ tablespoons mini chocolate chips or whatever kind you have around

1. Melt the butter or coconut oil in a small bowl: depending on your microwave, set to 50% power for about 30-60 seconds, to keep it from exploding.
2. Using whatever spoon you’ll be eating the dough with, mix the sugar, molasses (if using), milk, salt, and vanilla into the butter until smooth. The texture should be like a thin paste, but not quite liquidy.
3. Start by mixing in 2 tablespoons flour. From there, continue adding in ½ tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired doughy texture.
4. Mix in the chocolate chips. Eat!
